Birthday Crop

What a fun day we had yesterday...lots of good cropping, yummy food, belly laughs and delicious birthday cake! Thanks to everyone for celebrating our 1st birthday with us (especially those who ventured out in the pouring rain!).

Several of you asked for the Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe...here goes:

-Spread 1 package of softened cream cheese on the bottom of a pie plate (I used lowfat)
-Pour 1/2 cup blue cheese or ranch dressing on top (I used lowfat blue cheese)
-Boil 2 large chicken breasts with garlic
-Shred the chicken and mix with 8 oz. can of tomato sauce, 1/2 cup hot sauce and 1/2 stick melted butter (I didn't have the tomato sauce so I substituted a can of tomato soup)
-Pour chicken mix on top of dressing
-Sprinkle 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese
-Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
-Serve with Triscuits or Panitini Toast (something heavy to support the thick dip)
